Time bandit

The title Time Bandit describes the 'borrowed time' when editing the frame. Real silver leaf is oxidized here by a trick. This creates a play of colors from gold to purple, with the silver still shimmering through the background. A personal favorite of the artist. Depending on the incidence of light, the glitter sparkles like a myriad of stars. 

Sand mix: The sand mixture contains brown, black and white minerals with ruby sand.
